Interpolation in Variable Exponent Spaces

In this paper we study both real and complex interpolation in the recently introduced scales of variable exponent Besov and Triebel–Lizorkin spaces. We also take advantage of some interpolation results to study a trace property and some pseudodifferential operators acting in the variable index Besov scale.

We investigate Besov spaces and their connection with dyadic spline approximation in Lp(Cl), 0 < p < oo. Our main results are: the determination of the interpolation spaces between a pair of Besov spaces; an atomic decomposition for functions in a Besov space; the characterization of the class of functions which have certain prescribed degree of approximation by dyadic splines.

Univalent Interpolation in Besov Spaces and Superposition into Bergman Spaces

We characterize the superposition operators from an analytic Besov space or the little Bloch space into a Bergman space in terms of the order and type of the symbol. We also determine when these operators are continuous or bounded.
